Annual Networking Event

CASLT hosts an annual networking event to facilitate the sharing of information and the exchange of ideas among its partners and interested second language education stakeholders. This forum provides the opportunity to discuss recommendations requiring joint initiatives.

The session provides an update on CASLT initiatives and priorities, presentations by invited guests, and a working session focused on an issue or trend affecting second language educators in Canada.

Participation is by invitation for representatives of CASLT board of directors and National council, the provincial and territorial departments of education, the provincial language associations, the provincial and territorial teacher federations. Attendance by key partner organizations including the Canadian Teacher Federation and the Office of the Commissioner of Official Languages recognizes a broader representation of teacher support organizations and a strong base for future collaborative work and commitments.
