About CASLT
Our Strategic Directions
The Canadian Association of Second Language Teachers (CASLT) was established in 1970 and has evolved from a small organization of volunteers dedicated to supporting second language teachers into a multi-level national professional organization.
The Board of Directors undertook a thorough strategic planning process from 2003 to 2005. The CASLT Bylaws and Letters Patent were reviewed, updated and approved by Industry Canada in February 2007. CASLT established a three-year strategic directions document that guides our activities and projects, which is reviewed and updated annually.
