Executive Director
Guy Leclair
 |
Guy Leclair holds an Honours BA in French Literature from the University of Ottawa. He began his career teaching French as a second language. In 1989, he was hired by the International Council for Canadian Studies (ICCS), where he held various positions. From 2005 to 2010, he co-directed the ICCS, acting as Executive Director. In this capacity, he completed governance related issues, such a strategic plan, communications plan, an electronic international survey, a Forum on Canadian Studies. He has organized international conferences and seminars. He was Managing Editor of the International Journal of Canadian Studies and of ICCS’ conference proceedings; and Editor of two newsletters. He was also co-director of the International Canadian Studies Series, University of Ottawa Press. Finally, he has been a member of various boards, committees, and working groups. |
