Wendy Carr coordinates the French Teacher Education Program at the University of British Columbia and teaches in the undergraduate and graduate programs. She was an elementary Core French teacher in BC for 30 years and a teacher educator and author of educational resources for more than half that time. She oversaw the implementation of British Columbia’s first Intensive French program, conducted her doctoral research on the program, and now acts as an IF consultant for the Vancouver School Board and the province. She has been an active member of the BCATML for the last 10 years and now participates as its past president and webmaster.
